SOBRE O AUTOR
Robert Asprin
Robert (Lynn) Asprin nasceu em 1946. Escreveu alguns romances independentes como Cold Cash War, Tambu e The Bug Wars e também as histórias de Duncan e Mallory Illustrated, mas o autor é mais conhecido pelas suas séries de fantasia, como o Mito. Tem também as Aventuras de Aahz e Skeeve, os romances da Phule's Company e os romances de Time Scout escritos com Linda Evans. Editou também a série de antologia Thieves 'World, com Lynn Abbey. Outras colaborações incluem o License Invoked (criado no French Quarter of New Orleans) e vários romances da Myth Adventures, todos escritos com Jody Lynn Nye.
O último trabalho a solo de Robret Asprin foi uma série de fantasia contemporânea chamada Dragons, novamente ambientada em Nova Orleães.
Bob morreu repentinamente a 22 de maio de 2008. Deixou uma filha e um filho, a sua mãe e a sua irmã.
