Tsegay Mehari

Tsegay Mehari was born in Knn, a small village located in the southern of Eritrea. He studied in Ha-dish Adi Akran elementary school, in junior school Asmara, in Dalul, and he concluded his studies in Segeneyti secondary school and Sawa. He got the chance to take basic poem literature, drama and jour-nalism courses.

He wrote poems, articles, short stories in newspapers, radio and TV from 2003 to 2009, until he got prisoned with other artists and journalists in 2009.
Tsegay was in prison from 2009 to 2013 where he wrote more than 150 poems in toilet paper. Most of the poems are published in this book.
Now Tsegay lives in Sweden, he studied practical nurse in psychiatry and he works as a psychiatrist.
