Maureen Johnson é autora do New York Times e do USA Today, bestseller de vários romances para jovens adultos, incluindo Cordialmente Cruel. Além disso, realizou trabalhos colaborativos, como Quando a Neve Cai (com John Green e Lauren Myracle), e As Crónicas de Bane (com Cassandra Clare e Sarah Rees Brennan).
