SOBRE O AUTOR
Tony DiTerlizzi
Desde cedo sentiu o fascínio pelo fantástico. A par de coleccionar insectos e acampar, sempre gostou de desenhar e ler. Foi inspirado por Norman Rockwell, Arthur Rackham, Dr. Suess, Roald Dahl, e Jim Henson. Frequentou a Florida School of Arts e mais tarde The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale onde se diplomou em Desenho Gráfico. Após a faculdade, DiTerlizzi iniciou uma carreira de ilustrador freelance. Depois de sete anos a trabalhar como artista do fantástico dedicou-se à escrita e ilustração de livros para crianças. Actualmente vive com a mulher em Massachussets.
