Katie Agnew nasceu em Edimburgo e viveu em Aberdeen e Londres.
Trabalhou como jornalista em publicações como a Marie Claire, Cosmopolitan, Red, Evening Standard e o Daily Mail antes de se dedicar inteiramente à ficção.

O seu primeiro romance foi galardoado como WH Smith Fresh Talent Award, e os livros que escreveu posteriormente têm sido muito bem recebidos pela crítica.
A autora vive atualmente em Bath com a família.
