The Promise

The year is 2173. Earth is at peace, rebuilt from the alien attack that nearly wiped out all of humanity. The Piecer Corp, DNA created soldiers, is disbanding. The last graduating class of cadets is assembled to receive their stars and return to civilian life. That's when the sky lit up.
