SOBRE O AUTOR

Oded Galor

Oded Galor, professor de Economia na Universidade de Brown e criador da teoria unificada do crescimento, é considerado um dos grandes pensadores da atualidade. Formado na Universidade Hebraica de Jerusalém, onde viria a dar aulas, doutorou-se na Universidade de Columbia, recebeu posteriormente um doutoramento Honoris Causa da Universidade de Lovaina e outro da Universidade de Poznan. Foi eleito membro da Academia Europaea (Honoris Causa) e da Econometric Society. É o editor principal do Journal of Economic Growth, editor do Journal of Population Economics e coeditor da revista Macroeconomic Dynamics, da Universidade de Cambridge.
