The Bobbio Missal

An edition of an important liturgical book, written in the mid-8th century, showing the liturgical practices of the Merovingian and Frankish churches prior to Charlemagne's reforms. The Bobbio Missal is considered as essentially Gallican, but incorporating various prayers of Gelasian origin.
