Lily, Director of Student Activities, falls in love with Samir, President of the Student Union. Controversy over a lecture on genetic engineering leads to a suicide bombing. Lily runs for legislature for gun control but faces lobbyist opposition. She resigns and starts a recall campaign against corrupt politicians.
