Overcoming Disadvantage represents two decades of personal research on Indigenous culture and spirituality. It analyses group identity, seeking to highlight the fundamental building blocks of Aboriginal well-being by extracting the critical issues faced by Indigenous communities and relating these to mainstream behavioural norms.
