Neil David'S Hopi World

Here, through a series of pen and ink drawings, Hopi/Tewa artist Neil David Sr. presents a chronological, pictorial history of the Hopi Indians life based on the oral teachings of his childhood. David, who has been called the Hopis Norman Rockwell tells the story of some of the most important events and milestones in Hopi history from the Pueblo Rebellion to how the Hopis lived and coped with government edicts and intruders from the dominant American society.
