Maritauqua Island

Liko is living a low profile life on an isolated island in the Gulf of Mexico to escape retribution for things that he did in the past. He helps a disturbed young man who is a talented painter. The man is a Middle Eastern American who survived a civil war and genocide. Liko gets in trouble with an anti-immigrant group and the law.
