Daisy Clover is a 14-year-old child star who makes her comeback at 24. She tells the story of how she is discovered by a movie producer and proceeds through large doses of work, sex and Benzedrine, through to a 24-hour marriage, a nervous breakdown, retirement and a vaudeville comeback.
