Damon Galgut

Damon Galgut nasceu em Pretória em 1963. Escreveu o seu primeiro romance, A Sinless Season, aos dezassete anos. Entre as suas obras contam-se os títulos Small Circle of Beings, The Beautiful Screaming of Pigs, The Quarry, The Good Doctor, O Impostor e Um Quarto Desconhecido.
The Good Doctor foi nomeado para o Man Booker Prize, o Commonwealth Writers' Prize e o Dublin/IMPAC Award, O Impostor foi também nomeado para o Commonwealth Writers' Prize e Um Quarto Desconhecido recebeu uma nomeação para o Man Booker Prize. Damon Galgut vive na Cidade do Cabo.
