First Testament

Vladimir Holan, belonging to Prague, was one of the great poets of his time. In the darkest part of the history of his country, he created graphic poetry, with deep and rich expressions and imagery. This book contains two of his apocalyptic poems. Portraying a dark period in Prague's history, they also contain humour, optimism and love of life.
