Dramaturgo norte-americano (1888-1953) galardoado com o Prémio Nobel da Literatura em 1936. A sua obra-prima só se tornou conhecida postumamente, em 1956, e intitula-se Long Day's Journey into Night . A sua obra situa-se entre o Naturalismo e o drama experimental.
