An account of the extensive and complex evidence of four separate burial grounds at RAF Lakenheath, dating from the 5th century AD to the 8th, a time when burial of the dead with grave goods was common, followed by a change in burial custom correlated with the Christianisation of Anglo-Saxon cultural practice.
