Zygmunt Bauman

Zygmunt Bauman, sociólogo polaco, iniciou a sua carreira na Universidade de Varsóvia, onde ocupou a cátedra de sociologia geral. Em 1968 emigrou, reconstruindo a sua carreira no Canadá, Estados Unidos, Austrália e Grã-Bretanha, onde em 1971 se tornou professor titular de sociologia da Universidade de Leeds, cargo que ocupou por vinte anos. Morreu em janeiro de 2017.
