ABOUT THE ARTIST

Wolfmother

Wolfmother is an Australian hard rock band formed in 2004 in Sydney, led by vocalist and guitarist Andrew Stockdale. Known for their energetic sound that combines influences from classic rock, stoner rock, and psychedelic, Wolfmother became one of the most iconic bands of the rock revival in the 2000s.

The eponymous debut album, Wolfmother (2005), was an immediate success, standing out with songs such as "Woman", "Joker and the Thief" and "Mind's Eye". This work received critical acclaim and won a Grammy in the category of Best Hard Rock Performance, cementing the band's reputation as a renewing force in contemporary rock.

Throughout his career, Wolfmother faced several lineup changes, but Andrew Stockdale kept the project alive, leading the creation of albums such as Cosmic Egg (2009) and Victorious (2016). Both works continued to explore the fusion of heavy riffs and fantastic lyrics, maintaining the essence that won fans around the world.

With a sound that pays homage to bands like Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath and Deep Purple, Wolfmother stands out for the impact of his live performances, always charged with energy and charisma. The band is often praised for its authenticity and ability to bring the essence of classic rock to new generations.

Today, Wolfmother continues to be a constant presence at festivals and global stages, reaffirming its relevance in the hard rock scene. Stockdale's passion for music keeps the band as a symbol of creativity and perseverance within the genre.
