Caravan

Caravan é uma banda britânica de rock progressivo formada em 1968 em Canterbury, Inglaterra. Reconhecida como uma das pioneiras do chamado Canterbury Scene, a banda é conhecida pela sua fusão de rock psicadélico, jazz e música clássica, criando um som sofisticado e melódico que mistura passagens intrincadas com letras frequentemente bem-humoradas e surreais.

A formação original consistia em Pye Hastings (vocais e guitarra), David Sinclair (teclados), Richard Sinclair (baixo e vocais) e Richard Coughlan (bateria). O álbum de estreia homónimo, Caravan (1968), foi recebido positivamente, mas foi com If I Could Do It All Over Again, I'd Do It All Over You (1970) que a banda começou a ganhar notoriedade no cenário progressivo. O álbum apresentou faixas como "Hello Hello" e "For Richard", destacando a capacidade do grupo de combinar complexidade instrumental com melodias acessíveis.
