Alan Parsons

Alan Parsons is a renowned British sound engineer, music producer, and composer, born on December 20, 1948, in London, England. With a career spanning several decades, Alan Parsons has become an influential figure in music, both as a member of The Alan Parsons Project and through his extensive contribution to the production of iconic albums for other artists such as Pink Floyd and The Beatles.

Before forming his own band, The Alan Parsons Project, Parsons worked as a sound engineer on some of the most celebrated albums in rock history. He was responsible for engineering Pink Floyd's The Dark Side of the Moon (1973), one of the most acclaimed albums of all time. He also worked as an engineer on The Beatles' Abbey Road (1969), contributing significantly to the unique sound of these productions. His experience as a sound engineer helped shape the development of progressive rock and experimental rock.

In 1975, Alan Parsons founded the Alan Parsons Project, a band that would stand out for its fusion of progressive rock, pop, and electronic elements.
