Billy Bragg

Billy Bragg é um cantor, compositor, escritor e ativista britânico, nascido a 20 de dezembro de 1957, em Barking, Essex, Inglaterra. Reconhecido pela sua mistura de música folk, punk e letras politicamente engajadas, Bragg tornou-se uma das vozes mais influentes do ativismo musical desde os anos 80, abordando temas como justiça social, amor e identidade britânica.

A sua carreira começou na cena punk no final dos anos 70, com a banda Riff Raff. Após a dissolução do grupo, Bragg começou a atuar a solo, destacando-se pela simplicidade do seu formato: apenas a sua voz e uma guitarra elétrica.
