There are several alternate names used to describe this particular release of the CD. Officially dubbed the "Limited Edition", it is also referenced as the "Special Collector's Edition" on the promotional sticker affixed to the plastic packaging, and even as the "Special Edition" or simply "Collector's Edition" in some retail listings. This easily leads to confusion, as other editions contain the same bonus tracks, or the bonus DVD. This edition can be uniquely identified by the fact that it is the only release to feature both the two bonus audio tracks AND the bonus DVD together. Of course, the UPC is also a reliable way to identify a matching release.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

The Haunted

The Haunted é uma banda sueca de metal formada em 1996 na cidade de Gotemburgo. Conhecida pelo seu som agressivo, a banda é frequentemente associada aos géneros thrash metal e melodic death metal. Os membros fundadores incluíram ex-membros da influente banda sueca At The Gates, como os irmãos Anders e Jonas Björler (guitarrista e baixista, respetivamente) e o guitarrista Patrik Jensen (também conhecido pela sua participação na banda Witchery). O vocalista Peter Dolving e o baterista Adrian Erlandsson completaram a formação original.

O álbum de estreia da banda, The Haunted (1998), foi bem recebido, estabelecendo a banda como uma nova força no metal extremo. O seu som característico combina a brutalidade e a velocidade do thrash metal com a melodia e técnica do death metal melódico, resultando numa sonoridade poderosa e intensa.
