Rage is a German metal band formed in 1984 in Herne, Germany. The album The Soundchaser, for example, was very well received for its solid production and for tracks like "Soundchaser" and "Open My Grave", which showed the band's ability to create heavy and at the same time melodic songs, with lyrics with a strong emotional charge.

Vocalist and bassist Peavy Wagner has been the only constant member of the band since the beginning, which has ensured continuity in the band's sound.
