In 2009, Rammstein released Liebe ist für alle da, one of the band's most controversial albums. The first single, "Pussy," was accompanied by a highly explicit music video, which was widely censored and discussed. Despite (or perhaps because of) the controversy, the album was a commercial success and showed that Rammstein was still capable of shocking and captivating audiences.

After a hiatus, Rammstein returned in 2019 with an eponymous album, often referred to as Rammstein or Rammstein (2019). This album was highly anticipated and included singles such as "Deutschland," "Radio," and "Ausländer." "Deutschland," in particular, made a big impact both for its sound and for the music video, which dealt with Germany's complex and often painful history.
