Pierce The Veil is an American rock band, formed in 2006 in San Diego, California, by brothers Vic Fuentes (lead singer and guitarist) and Mike Fuentes (drummer). The band is known for its sound that mixes post-hardcore, punk rock, and alternative rock elements, with lyrics that often explore themes of love, angst, and self-overcoming.

The band rose from the ashes of the Fuentes brothers' previous project, Before Today, and quickly began to gain notoriety in the post-hardcore scene. In 2012, the band released Collide with the Sky, which included the single "King for a Day", a collaboration with Kellin Quinn of the band Sleeping with Sirens. The song became a major hit and helped the band reach an even larger audience. The album was critically acclaimed for its raw energy and emotion and is often cited as one of the band's best works.

After a four-year hiatus, Pierce The Veil released the album Misadventures in 2016, which continued to explore themes of infighting and personal growth. The album was once again well received and highlighted the band's ability to evolve musically without losing the emotional intensity that defines their sound.
