ABOUT THE ARTIST

Take That

Take That is one of the most successful pop bands in the United Kingdom, formed in 1990 in Manchester. The original lineup included Gary Barlow, Howard Donald, Jason Orange, Mark Owen, and Robbie Williams. The band became a global phenomenon in the 1990s, gaining a huge fanbase with their vocal harmonies, elaborate choreography, and iconic pop hits.

During the first phase of their career, Take That released several successful albums, including Take That & Party (1992), Everything Changes (1993), and Nobody Else (1995). Some of their biggest hits from that era include "Pray," "Relight My Fire," "Babe," and the ballad "Back for Good," which reached number 1 in several countries around the world.

In 1995, Robbie Williams left the band, leading to a major uproar in the press and among fans. Shortly after, in 1996, Take That announced their separation, leaving fans devastated. However, in 2005, the band (without Robbie Williams) reunited and released a new album, Beautiful World (2006), which was a great success and marked the beginning of a renaissance in the group's career. The single "Patience" was a huge hit and helped solidify the band's return.

In 2010, Robbie Williams rejoined the band for the album Progress, which was another commercial success, with singles like "The Flood" reaching the top of the charts. However, after the subsequent tour, Williams left the band again to pursue his solo career.

Take That continued to release music and tour as a trio (Gary Barlow, Howard Donald, and Mark Owen), releasing albums such as III (2014) and Wonderland (2017). The band is known for its ability to reinvent itself and maintain relevance over decades, being one of the best-selling bands in the UK, with a dedicated fanbase and a lasting legacy in pop music.
