ABOUT THE ARTIST

Turnstile

Turnstile is an American hardcore punk band formed in 2010 in Baltimore, Maryland, consisting of Brendan Yates (vocals), Franz Lyons (bass and vocals), Alex (guitar), Pat McCrory (guitar), and Daniel Fang (drums). Known for their infectious energy and fusion of fast rhythms with melodic bridges, Turnstile has become one of the most influential groups in the contemporary hardcore scene.

The EP "Move Thru Me" (2013) and the debut album "Nonstop Feeling" (2015) laid the foundations for their sound – brutal riffs, catchy choruses, and crowd-screaming sing-alongs. With "Time & Space" (2018), the band expanded their horizons, incorporating elements of funk and groove, and embarked on world tours, filling mid-sized venues in North America and Europe.

In 2021, Turnstile released "Glow On," an album acclaimed by critics and fans alike, featuring tracks like "BLACKOUT" and "ELLIPSIS," where the blend of punk, alt-rock, and soul showcased their ability to transcend genres. The album was named one of the best of 2021 for its sonic diversity and superb production.

Live, Turnstile are synonymous with mosh pits and collective celebration: their inclusive and vibrant stage presence transforms each show into a party of communion between band and audience. With several awards for best emerging band on their resume, they continue to lead a new wave of renewed hardcore.
