ABOUT THE ARTIST

The Script

The Script is an Irish pop rock band formed in 2001 in Dublin. Composed of Danny O'Donoghue (vocals and keyboards), Mark Sheehan (guitar) and Glen Power (drums), the band gained international fame with the release of their debut album, The Script (2008). The band's sound blends pop rock with electronic music influences, creating a sound that excels in both emotional ballads and more upbeat songs.

The Script's biggest success came with the single "The Man Who Can't Be Moved," which quickly became an international hit and cemented the band's place on the global music scene. The album The Script was widely acclaimed by critics, with introspective lyrics addressing themes of love, loss, and overcoming adversity, something that would become a hallmark of the band's style.

In 2010, the band released their second album, Science & Faith, which featured more hits such as "For the First Time" and "Nothing." This album continued to explore the same emotional themes, but with a more refined sound and expansive production. The band's global success was solidified with this work, with numerous tours and a growing number of fans around the world.

The Script's third album, #3 (2012), featured singles like "Hall of Fame" (featuring will.i.am), which became a huge hit on international charts and further solidified the band's mainstream presence. The album continued to explore pop and rock influences, but also experimented with new styles, including rap and electronic music.

With the release of No Sound Without Silence (2014) and Freedom Child (2017), the band remained true to its style but continued to evolve, with new sonic experiments and lyrical approaches. The Script has been one of the most popular bands of its generation, recognized for its live performances and ability to create music that resonates emotionally with listeners.

With a solid career and several successful albums, The Script remains one of the most prominent bands in contemporary pop rock music, with a legion of loyal fans and a legacy of songs that continue to resonate with generations.
