Fleet Foxes is an American indie folk band formed in 2006 in Seattle, Washington. Known for their pastoral sound, rich vocal harmonies, and poetic lyrics, Fleet Foxes has become one of the most influential bands in the contemporary indie scene, exploring themes of nature, spirituality, and introspection.

The band was founded by Robin Pecknold (lead vocals and main songwriter) and Skyler Skjelset (guitar), who were later joined by Casey Wescott (keyboards), Christian Wargo (bass and vocals), and Josh Tillman (drums, before his departure to launch his solo career as Father John Misty). Fleet Foxes' self-titled debut album (2008) was a landmark in indie folk, receiving universal critical acclaim. After a long hiatus, Robin Pecknold returned with Fleet Foxes to release Crack-Up (2017). This work stood out for its complex structure, literary themes, and a more experimental approach, while maintaining the vocal harmonies and poetic lyricism characteristic of the band.

In 2020, they released Shore, an album that reflected hope and renewal in difficult times. Released as a surprise during the early stages of the pandemic, Shore was enthusiastically received by fans and critics, standing out as a celebration of nature and human resilience.
