Eluveitie is a Swiss folk metal band, formed in 2002 in Winterthur, Switzerland. The name "Eluveitie" is a Celtic word meaning "I am Helvetic", referencing Switzerland's cultural heritage, specifically the Celtic civilization that inhabited the region before Romanization.

For example, Origins (2014) was an album that addressed the ancient history of Celtic tribes, while Ategnatos (2019) continued this tradition, exploring themes about the struggle against the forces of fate and the Celtic gods. With lyrics often based on Celtic mythology and Swiss history, Eluveitie blends tradition with modernity, creating a sound that is both heavy and melodic.
