Doris Day was one of the biggest music and film stars of the twentieth century, known for her multifaceted career that spanned music, comedy, and drama. Born on April 3, 1922, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Doris Day began her career as a singer and became one of the most popular artists of her time, winning the hearts of audiences with her sweet voice and charming style. Day began her musical career in the 40s, initially as a singer in big bands, standing out in groups such as Les Brown.
