Talk Talk were an influential British alternative rock and new wave band, active between 1981 and 1991. Initially known for synth-pop, they evolved into a more experimental and atmospheric sound. The albums "Spirit of Eden" (1988) and "Laughing Stock" (1991) are considered pioneers of post-rock. Hits such as "It's My Life" achieved commercial success, but the band opted to go in a more artistic direction. Despite the end in 1991, Talk Talk's innovative legacy influenced generations of musicians and continues to be celebrated to this day.
