Volbeat is a Danish rock and metal band formed in 2001 in Copenhagen. Known for their unique blend of heavy metal, hard rock, rockabilly, and country music influences, the band has become one of Denmark's biggest musical exports, achieving worldwide success with their catchy and energetic sound. The current lineup includes Michael Poulsen (vocals and guitar), Jon Larsen (drums), Rob Caggiano (guitar, ex-Anthrax), and Kasper Boye Larsen (bass).

The debut album, The Strength / The Sound / The Songs (2005), was well-received by critics and established Volbeat as an emerging force on the European scene, standing out with tracks such as "Pool of Booze, Booze, Booza" and "Soulweeper". The blend of heavy riffs and catchy melodies quickly gained a dedicated fanbase.

The big breakthrough came with Rock the Rebel / Metal the Devil (2007), which included the hit "The Garden's Tale" and reached the top of the Danish charts. The band's distinctive sound – often described as Elvis Presley meets Metallica – helped solidify their unique musical identity.

Subsequent albums, such as Guitar Gangsters & Cadillac Blood (2008) and Beyond Hell / Above Heaven (2010), further expanded the band's fanbase, with hits like "Still Counting" and "Heaven nor Hell" winning over international audiences. With Outlaw Gentlemen & Shady Ladies (2013), Volbeat further explored their Western influences, while collaborations with artists such as King Diamond and Sarah Blackwood brought new layers to their music.

Volbeat continues to innovate and attract large audiences with albums like Rewind, Replay, Rebound (2019) and Servant of the Mind (2021), maintaining the balance between heaviness and melody that defines their sound. With a career marked by world tours and successful albums, the band remains one of the most dynamic names in contemporary rock and metal.
