Guy Standing

Guy Standing is Professor of Development Studies at the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London, United Kingdom. He was Director of the Socioeconomic Security Programme at the International Labour Organization (ILO) and is currently co-chair of the Network for Unconditional Basic Income. He is the author of several works, including Beyond the New Paternalism: Basic Security as Equality (2002) and Work after Globalization: Building Occupational Citizenship (2009).
