A new collection of poems by Jack Alun, a British writer based in France unpicking the life, landscape and characters around him in modern, readable, human and compassionate verse. The second part is written to be read both across and downwards in a witty dialogue with a modern local poet, Christian da Silva whose headstone simply reads Poet.
