Christopher Lloyd

Christopher Lloyd formou-se em História, em Cambridge.
Desde então já trabalhou como jornalista para o The Sunday Times, administrou uma empresa de software educacional e em 2006 publicou o seu primeiro livro What on Earth Happened? Este vendeu mais de 500 000 exemplares e foi traduzido para mais de 15 idiomas.
Em 2010, Lloyd fundou a editora de não ficção infantil What on Earth Publishing, juntamente com o ilustrador Andy Forshaw, com o objetivo de ajudar jovens (e adultos) a aprender sobre o mundo real de uma maneira mais interconectada.
Em 2019 foram lançados os primeiros livros da nova chancela Britannica Books, com o título principal The Britannica All New Children's Encyclopedia: What We Know and What We Don't, que ele editou.
Lloyd divide seu tempo entre escrever, falar em escolas e festivais literários e dar palestras ao redor do mundo.
Durante o bloqueio do COVID-19, desenvolveu um programa de perguntas e respostas virtual inovador, baseado na nova Enciclopédia Britannica Juvenil.
