The Fifth Evangelist

Paul has often been misunderstood, both by Christians and non-Christians. Part 1 of this book is a personal invitation to the reader to think of him as 'the fifth evangelist, the first in point of time and of value both'. Then, from his letters, the author portrays him in turn as writer, liberator, pastor, theologian, churchman, friend and saint.
