Durante dez anos A.G. Riddle dedicou-se à criação de startups na área das tecnologias da informação.
Retirou-se e, desde então, dedica-se apenas à escrita de obras de ficção.
O seu romance de estreia, O Gene da Atlântida, deu origem à trilogia The Origin Mystery, que só nos Estados Unidos vendeu mais de dois milhões de exemplares.
Os livros foram comprados pela CBS, que está a adaptar o projeto ao cinema.
