Martin Puchner

Titular da cátedra Byron and Anita Wien de Literatura Inglesa e Comparada na Universidade de Harvard, é autor de livros vencedores de vários prémios, cujas temáticas vão da filosofia às artes, como Norton Anthology of World Literature, um bestseller em seis volumes, e do Harvard xMOOC (Massive Open Online Course), que tem transmitido o fascínio pela literatura a estudantes de todo o mundo.
Recebeu várias distinções, entre as quais uma Guggenheim Fellowship, fellowships do Institute for Advanced Study de Berlim e do Cullman Center da New York Public Library, o Berlin Prize e o Humboldt Prize em 2021. É membro efetivo da European Academy.
