Siofra escaped a compound guarded by shifters and never wants to see one of those predators again. She doesn't get her wish. In fact, she runs into the arms of a Gallize shifter who plans to never mate ... but Rory can't seem to let Siofra go. Her fault. She likes being close to this shifter, but she'll get him killed if she stays.
