When Physician assistant Jim Booker saves the life of a Mafia don's son, the young man's father makes him a promise. Later, Jim asks the don to help deal with an intolerable situation, but does it end up making matters worse? The resulting consequences threaten to land Jim in prison. He'll face many obstacles as he tries to prove his innocence.
