Paper

Nine paper sculptures formed using molds taken of the artist's body. Given the gesture of flight, they conjure a familiar female archetype - an angel. The impetus for these sculptures, their form and treatment came out of a personal crisis. The abuses visited upon the paper in each figure carry a broad message of human suffering and transcendence
