Matt Whyman is a well-known columnist for the British magazine "19," where for about twelve years he has been answering the most varied problems presented to him by teenagers and young adults. His success in this field has been so great that more recently he has also taken on the same role at "thesite.org," an English-language advice page for young people. In the field of young adult literature, he has published, in addition to the present novel (which is currently being adapted for film), "Superhuman" (2003), "XY" (2003), "XY: 100" (2004), "The Wild" (2005), "So Below" (2005), and "Inside the Cage" (2007). The latter will soon also be published by Campo das Letras.
Matt Whyman is also the author of two adult novels, "Man or Mouse" (2001) and "Columbia Road" (2002).
