ABOUT THE AUTHOR

António Monteiro

António Monteiro, born in Lisbon in 1951, graduated in Mathematics from the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon, and later obtained a Master's degree in Algebra from the same Faculty.
Currently a faculty member at Lusíada University, he has extensive experience in the fields of Algebra, Mathematical Analysis, and Mathematical Logic. He is the author of several articles and books in the field of Algebra and related areas.
Outside the field of Mathematics, he has been intensely active in the field of Malacology, being the author or co-author of numerous articles and books. He has also dedicated himself to fantasy literature, having published several works of fiction and others.
