ABOUT THE AUTHOR

António Ferra

António Ferra was born in Porto in 1947. He lives in Lisbon.
He published several works in the areas of pedagogy and children's literature, including "Person-Centered Pedagogy and Kaleidoscope" (a play that won an award from the SEC in 1980).
In the field of fiction, he wrote "Chronicles of the New Deeds of Guinea," "The Red and the Black," "Looking at Silence," and "Water and Fire." In 2002, he published his first book of poetry, "With the City in My Body." He is represented in the poetry anthologies "To Porto," "Enchanted Coimbra," and "Algarve - All the Sea."
He illustrated his own plays for children and participated in several exhibitions, maintaining over time a body of artistic expression as a possible continuation of his writing work.
