Cees Nooteboom

Cees Nooteboom é romancista, poeta e viajante infatigável e um dos nomes cimeiros da literatura holandesa. Nasceu em Haia em 1933. Aos vinte anos, começou a colaborar com revistas e jornais com os seus relatos de viagem. Foi tradutor de Pavese, Neruda e Hughes. Os seus romances foram galardoados com vários prémios literários, entre os quais o Prémio Europeu de Literatura 1993.
