Barbara Winton

Barbara Winton, daughter of Nicholas and Grete Winton, was born in 1953 and died in 2022 at the age of 69. Barbara shared with her father a profound humanity, persistence, determination, and unwavering empathy, even in the face of the greatest obstacles. She became a fervent activist, continuing his work supporting refugee children, having created the Sir Nicholas Winton Memorial Trust [Fund in Memory of Sir Nicholas Winton], which her husband, Steve, and her children, Laurence and Holly, keep alive. With the aim of preserving her father's history, she drew on memoirs, documents, and testimonies to write it. A Unique Life.
