ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Dan Jacobson

Dan Jacobson nasceu e estudou em Joanesburgo. Após a publicação dos seus dois primeiros romances, foi convidado para ensinar em várias universidades, como a Stanford Univesity, a Syracuse University de Nova Iorque e o University College de Londres. É neste último, desde 1994, Professor Emérito de Literatura Inglesa.
Publicou mais de uma dezena de livros, entre ensaio, autobiografia, contos e romances, tendo sido por várias vezes galardoado com prémios literários, entre os quais se destaca o Somerset Maugham Award. O romance Tudo por Amor esteve na lista do Booker Prize em 2005. Vive actualmente em Londres.
