Henry Clay The Lawyer

Henry Clay was a lawyer in pre-Civil war America, he argued many precedent setting cases, some of them before the U.S. supreme court. He specialized in property law at a time when this included questions pertaining to slavery and handled a significant case involving the interstate slave trade.
